East Coast Wallpaper is owned and operated by Charleston resident Madi Howard. Madi launched East Coast Wallpaper in 2023 after graduating with an arts degree and working in the design field. Her love of color and art began at an early age and has remained a constant throughout the years.

What sets Madi apart is not only her attention to detail but also how efficiently she works. She matched patterns expertly and covered light switch and outlet covers so that they disappeared into the pattern. Two of my projects were pre-pasted papers and two required that she supply the glue. She worked easily with either. One of the projects was an extension into a dressing area of wallpaper that had been previously installed in a bath. Madi worked with me to make sure I ordered the correct lot numbers for matching. She showed me a little trick for adding a picture mount so that the hole could be easily covered later if the picture was relocated. Madi is a pleasure to work with and always willing to go the extra bit to ensure perfect service. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with hiring Madi for any project.”
